Moly-Fusion Testimonial from Bill
Jonathan, I have treated my mountain bike chains and gears, and I really am beginning to notice the difference. When I peddle uphill now, I notice less chain drag on the smaller gears, and noticeably less what I call "chain buzz" which is a loss of power (peddle power into pushing power.)
I feel enough of a difference before and after to believe Lance Armstrong and the tour riders would find a felt difference in efficiency as well. The nice thing about it is if you follow the directions, You will ride the bike dry, so no dust or grit sticks to it, slowing you down, but the chain works as if it is lubricated - the best of both worlds. When the chain doesn't stick and there is no dust worry, I think that is a plus. It should shave time off of the competition: expecially the long climbs up the mountain sides. The directions would be similar to other things: Repeated application between riding to allow for bike chain wear-in. I have noticed how there is a break-in of the new metal surface. I also noticed that with wear, the chain gets more and more slippery feeling and is developing a bright polish from wear. After a long ride, there is no dust or dirt sticking to the metal - It looks like it has not been ridden. When treating, graphite comes out, but the treatment is taking its place. I really like the feel of what it has created. It takes so little money in product to make such a huge difference to a mountain bike: and it gets better and better with initial repeated use. It is important to prepare and follow the directions.
Now for the how to.
